Measure J will protect and preserve a precious community resource and provide dedicated, local funding to keep Palo Alto strong. The Cubberley Community Center is 70 years old and falling into disrepair — it’s time to repair and upgrade this community resource for all Palo Altans.

By law, 100% of funds stay in Palo Alto — nothing can be taken or redirected by the State or Federal Governments
More than 40% of the measure would be paid by visitors to Palo Alto, ensuring neighbors throughout the region pay their fair share
Essentials like groceries, medicine and feminine hygiene products are exempt
Independent financial audits are required
